I used to work with Allie at Hostel Buffalo-Niagara. My band Difficult Night played a show that she played, and I liked her songs and her voice. A few months later, at another show that we played together, I asked her if she needed someone to help her make an album. We spent 7 months adding everything we could and cutting back. She was a natural at harmonies and electric leads and flute -- a natural! I love these songs and sing them all the time. But now it's the lyrics I dig the most. I like how direct they are. damian.
